Green Wagon Host Guidelines

Green Wagon Native

Plant Donation Guidelines

Inspired by the Little Free Library movement, the KMG Canopy Committee is developing the Green Wagon Project: Media Goes Native.

The Project Goals are to:

  • Educate the Media community about the value of native/wildlife gardening and to share resources that will inspire and facilitate native/wildlife gardening in people’s yards.

  • Promote KMG and make more people aware of the organization.

We are renovating and retrofitting second-hand wagons, developing and curating written resources, and designing a program to share native plants and tree seedlings, attractive children's activities, and just fun nature stuff -- all free for pedestrian passers-by.

Our first Green Wagons have been deployed (spring 2022).

Follow the project in our blog posts.
