We did it! 500 petitions signatures collected

Today is the first day of spring and we have reached our goal of collecting 500 hand-written signatures on our petition directing Media Borough Council to rezone the 12-acre Broomall’s track from Residential (R-2/R-3) to Recreational (Municipal, Educational, Recreational, and Community).

Thanks to the hard work of dozens of Keep Media Green volunteers and an enthusiastic response from the people of our town, we have demonstrated widespread support for our cause.

Media residents from every neighborhood in town, from ages 18 to 99, from all ethnic and racial backgrounds, including Democrats, Republicans, and Independents signed the petition.

Now, we are asking you to join us and speak out when we deliver the signatures to Media Borough Council on April 18, 2019 at 8:00 pm in Council Chambers at the Media Municipal Center, 301 North Jackson Street.

SAVE THE DATE AND PLAN TO ATTEND THE COUNCIL MEETING ON THE EVENING OF APRI 18.

Note: Keep Media Green is still collecting signatures, if you want to sign the petition, if you have petitions with signatures that you need to turn in, or if you want to help us collect more signatures, contact Terry Rumsey at terry@greenseedsgrants.com or 484.326.1370.

Enjoy your celebration of the Spring Equinox.
